For account owners
Owner guide — everything you can do
A walk-through of every important thing you can do in Vamofy, from connecting your Impact account to paying your team. Written so anyone can follow it, even if you've never run a master affiliate program before.
You are the owner if you started this Vamofy account and connected an Impact account to it. Owners see everything: who joined, what every brand earned, who is owed money, and who got paid.

Welcome
What Vamofy does, in plain words
Read this part first. It explains the whole picture so the rest of the steps make sense.
- Step 1
What this app is for
Vamofy is the place where you keep track of every person who helps you promote brands and where you pay them what they earned.
Before, you probably wrote down sales in a spreadsheet and chased people on WhatsApp. Now, every person you work with has their own login, their own share links, and a clear view of how much they made. You decide who joins, how much they get, and when you pay them.

Affiliate
There are three kinds of people in your account. Knowing which is which makes everything easier:
- You — the owner. You see everything and you pay everyone.
- Master affiliates — people you let in. They make share links and earn a payout. They can also invite their own affiliates.
- Affiliates — the people a master affiliate brings in. They make their own share links and earn a smaller payout, taken from the master affiliate's payout.
- Step 3
The big picture
1Make a share link
2Share it
3Conversion comes in
4Balance grows
5Get paid
Here is the whole flow, so you know what to expect on a normal week.
- 1. You connect your Impact account once.
- 2. You share your invite link with people.
- 3. They sign up. You review them and set their payout.
- 4. Once approved, they make share links and start promoting.
- 5. When a sale comes in, Vamofy splits the money the way you set.
- 6. They ask for a payout. You send the money on PayPal and mark it as paid here.
First-time setup
Setting things up
These are the things you do once at the start. After this, your day-to-day is much shorter.
- Step 4
Connect your Impact account
Connect your Impact account
ConnectedSave connectionOpen the menu on the left, click Settings, then choose the Impact connection tab. You will see two empty boxes: an Impact Account ID and a secret key. These are like a username and password that let Vamofy talk to Impact for you.
Find them inside Impact, under your profile on the API page. Copy each one carefully and paste them into the boxes here.
Click Save. Vamofy checks the connection right away and tells you if it worked.
- Step 5
Pull in your brands
Your brands

Brands are the companies you promote on Impact (like HostGator, Shopify or Wix). In Vamofy we call each one a brand.
Open Brands in the left menu. The first time, the page may be empty. Click 'Sync now' and Vamofy will pull every brand from Impact. After that, Vamofy refreshes the list once a day on its own.
If a brand does not show its share link (Wix sometimes hides it), you can paste the share link by hand. Open the brand and look for the 'Tracking link' field — paste the full link from Impact there.
- Step 6
Set the default payout and the minimum payout
Regular payment
Open Settings in the left menu. There are two important numbers here.
Default payout: how much a master affiliate earns out of every sale by default. You can pick a percent (like 40%) or a fixed amount (like $50 per sale). You can change it for one specific person later — this is just the starting point.
Minimum payout: the smallest amount someone needs to have earned before they can ask for a payout. A common starting point is $50 or $100. This avoids tiny payments.
- Step 7
Pick which brands your team can use (optional)
By default, every brand is open to every master affiliate. If you want to keep a brand for yourself, or only let some people promote it, open Brands and switch 'Default visibility' from 'All brands' to 'Only the brands I pick'.
Then check the brands you want everyone to be able to use. You can also override this for one person later, in their profile.
- Step 8
Add your photo and name
Open Profile in the left menu. Upload a photo and pick a friendly display name.
This is what people see on the page where they sign up to your team. A real face makes them more likely to trust the invite.
Day-to-day
Working with your master affiliates
This is where you spend most of your time once things are running.
- Step 9
Share your invite link
Your invite link
vamofy.com/join/your-accountCopy invite linkGo to Overview (your home screen). Right at the top you will see a copy button next to your invite link. It looks like https://vamofy.com/join/your-account.
Send this link to anyone you want to invite — WhatsApp, email, Instagram DM, wherever you talk to them. They click it, fill a short form, and become 'pending'.
- Step 10
Approve a new master affiliate
Maria Silva

DeclineApproveWhen someone signs up, they appear in Master affiliates with a 'New application' tag. Open the page, click their name to read their details, and decide.
Hit Approve to let them in. They get instant access to their dashboard and can start making share links right away.
Hit Decline if you do not want them in. They keep their account but cannot earn anything.
- Step 11
Pause or reactivate someone
Open Master affiliates, click the person's name, and use Pause to put them on hold. Paused people can still sign in and see their old sales but cannot make new share links. Use Reactivate to bring them back.
Pausing is useful when someone is breaking your rules or going on a long break. It is safe and reversible — their history stays intact.
- Step 12
Set a custom payout for one person
Open Master affiliates → click the person's name → look for 'Their payout'. You can change the percent (like 50%) or set a fixed amount (like $80 per sale).
This overrides the default payout for that person only. Everyone else keeps the default.
- Step 13
Limit which brands one person can use
On the same page, scroll to 'Brand access'. Switch from 'All brands' to 'Only the brands I pick'. Check the brands they are allowed to promote.
Use this when a master affiliate is a specialist (only knows hosting, only knows fashion) or when you want to keep some brands for yourself.
- Step 14
See a master affiliate's affiliates
Open the master affiliate. Scroll down to see the affiliates they invited. You can review each person, set a different payout for them too, and see how much each one earned.
You do not need to approve affiliates — that is the master affiliate's job. But you can see them all in one place from your overview.
Money
Reading the numbers
All the money tracking is automatic. Here is what each part of the screen means.
- Step 15
The home screen
Overview is your starting point. You will see four big numbers at the top: how many master affiliates you have, how many affiliates, how many brands are connected, and how much you earned this month.
Below that, you will see who is owed money right now and who has open payout requests. Click any of these to dig deeper.
- Step 16
How splits work
$100 conversion$100$60Owner$30Master affiliate$10AffiliateOwner$60 · 60%Master affiliate$30 · 30%Affiliate$10 · 10%How a $100 conversion gets split When a sale comes in from Impact, Vamofy looks at the share link that brought it. If it was a master affiliate's link, they earn their payout. If it was a affiliate's link, the master affiliate earns their payout and the affiliate gets a piece of that.
Example: a $100 sale, the master affiliate's payout is 40% (so $40), and the affiliate's payout is 25% of the master affiliate's $40 (so $10). The master affiliate keeps $30 and the affiliate gets $10. You keep $60.
- Step 17
Looking at one person's history
Click any master affiliate or affiliate to see every sale they brought, how much was paid out, and how much is still waiting.
This is great for answering 'where is my money?' questions — open the page together with them on a video call and walk through it.
Payouts
Paying your team
Vamofy does not move money on its own — you send the actual payment outside (PayPal, Pix, bank transfer). Vamofy keeps the record so nobody loses track.
- Step 18
How a payout works, end to end
Request sentApprovedPaidHow a payment request moves A master affiliate or affiliate sees they have enough earned to ask for a payout. They open Payouts, type their PayPal email and the amount, and submit.
You see their request in Payouts. You approve it (this reserves the money so they cannot ask twice). You send the actual payment from your PayPal. Then you come back and click 'Mark paid'. Done.
- Step 19
Approving a request
Open Payouts. You will see every waiting request with the person's name, their PayPal email, and how much they want.
Click Approve to lock the amount. The person now sees 'approved, waiting for payment' on their side.
- Step 20
Sending the actual money
Go to PayPal (or whatever you use) and send the amount to the email shown in the request. Keep the receipt or transaction ID for your records.
- Step 21
Marking it paid in Vamofy
Come back to Payouts and click 'Mark paid' on the request. The person's status flips to Paid and the amount comes off their balance for good.
If you marked something paid by mistake, message us — Vamofy keeps an exact record so we can fix it.
Bonus
Other things owners can do
- Step 22
Make a share link for someone else
If a master affiliate asks you to make a share link for them (maybe they are not very technical), you can do it from the same place they would. Open New link in the menu, pick the brand, choose where it should send people, and copy the link.
When you make a link 'as the owner' you can pick anyone in your team as the owner of the link, so the sale gets credited to them.
- Step 23
Look at the leads you collected
Open Leads in the left menu. You will see every email you collected, who shared the link that brought them, and when. You can search and export the whole thing as a spreadsheet.
- Step 24
Build a multi-step funnel
A funnel is a small public website with several steps — for example, a lead-capture page, then a thank-you message, then a button to the brand. Useful when one page isn't enough.
Open Funnels in the menu and click Create funnel. Add steps in the editor, then publish. Your funnel lives at vamofy.com/f/your-funnel-name.
You decide which master affiliates can use it. You can also let some of them clone your funnel into their own copy, or build their own from scratch.
- Step 25
Set up advertising pixels
Pixels are small pieces of tracking code from Facebook (Meta) or TikTok. If you run ads on those platforms, pixels tell them that a conversion happened so the platform learns to find more buyers like that one.
Open Settings → Pixels (or your funnel's Pixels tab). Paste the pixel ID you got from Meta or TikTok and save. Vamofy fires the right events for you when conversions happen on your funnels.
- Step 26
Pick which conversions count as a sale
Each brand on Impact may report several kinds of events — for example, a click, a sign-up, and a purchase. By default, Vamofy waits until you pick which event counts as a real sale so nobody gets paid for the wrong thing.
Open the brand's page (Brands → click the name) and look for 'Conversion event'. Pick the one that means 'this customer is a real customer' (usually 'Purchase' or 'Order'). Once set, every new conversion of that type starts paying your team.
Sharing
Sending tutorials to your team
These tutorials work outside the app too — you can send any of them as a link, and the person can read them without signing in.
- Step 27
Send the master affiliate tutorial
When you approve a new master affiliate, send them the master affiliate tutorial right after. Use the copy button on the share box at the bottom of this page.
It explains everything they need to know: how to make share links, how to read their numbers, how to ask for a payout.
- Step 28
Send the affiliate tutorial
Most master affiliates will forward this one themselves to the affiliates they bring in. But if a affiliate writes to you directly with questions, send them the affiliate tutorial link.
Tips
Helpful things to know
- Step 29
Old sales without a username come back to life
If you used Impact before Vamofy and tagged sales with names like 'thomas' or 'maria', those tags are still in Impact. The first time someone signs up with that exact same username, Vamofy looks back and credits all those old sales to them on the next refresh.
This is a nice surprise for old collaborators — once they join, they can see months of history right away.
- Step 30
How fast new sales show up
Vamofy checks Impact for new sales every 30 minutes. If you want to refresh right now, click 'Sync now' on Brands or wait for the next round.
- Step 31
Your secret key is protected
Your Impact secret key is locked before it is saved. Even our team cannot read it. The only way to use it is from inside the app, which only you can sign in to.
- Step 32
Switch the app language
Use the language switcher (top right of every page). Vamofy works in English, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish. Your choice is remembered.
The tutorials you send to your team open in their own chosen language — they don't have to read in yours.
- Step 33
Reset your password
Go to vamofy.com/login, click 'Forgot password?', and type your email. Vamofy sends a reset link that works for one hour. Open it, pick a new password, and you're back in.
Use this if you forget your password or want to change it for safety.
- Step 34
Where to get help
If anything looks wrong, open the page where the problem happens and write to support. Include a screenshot. The faster you can show us what you see, the faster we can fix it.
Your own offers
Selling something that isn't a connected brand
- Step 35
Add your own offer
Got a product on your own checkout, or a free course? Add it under "Your own offers". Pick paid or free, set what you pay your affiliates, and you're set.
- Step 36
Connect a paid checkout
For a paid product, open "Connect your checkout", copy the notification URL and connection code into your checkout, and match the fields. Sales come back to a review queue you approve.
- Step 37
Credit later upgrades
Tie a course offer to its funnel so the affiliate who first referred a buyer earns again when that buyer later activates a paid plan.
If a person on your team gets stuck, send them the matching tutorial link from the box below. The links work for anyone — even if they do not have a Vamofy account yet.
